Movement for National Transformation, calls on  patriotic Filipinos to

“unite and Save Our Nation”

Save Our Nation Movement for National Transformation calls on every patriotic Filipino to unite and help our less fortunate countrymen affected by the latest calamities that wrecked havoc in our land to overcome their present difficulties and rebuild their lives.

The movement is an aggregation of multi-sector, multi-faith, non-sectarian and non-partisan organizations from various corners of the country and other parts of the world. It launched a purely private sector, civil-society and people-initiated response to provide relief assistance to victims of natural calamities and man-made disasters, including areas of conflict in Southern Philippines.

It plans to develop capabilities in providing timely rescue operations, pre-positioning volunteers, relief goods and rescue equipment along typhoons paths, providing appropriate shelter, proper hygiene and sanitation facilities, and preventing the spread of diseases into epidemic proportions. It will also provide victims with psychological rehabilitation especially women and children, who suffer most. Furthermore, it will develop programs that will help restore economic activities and build entire communities.

"The movement will work to heal the wounds of our

people, that we may rise up as a nation and compete

with the world," according to its founder Don Flordeliza. He promotes the vision of becoming a Tiger economy in thirty five years, and poses the "Philipppines2020 Challenge!" of becoming a Tiger

It calls on our people, the men in uniform and the leaders of various religions to unite in rebuilding our nation!

It will champion transformative politics and take the lead in initiating transformative political actions. It will promote people’s empowerment through people’s involvement and participation.

It will promote the People’s Agenda in the coming 2010 election. It will encourage the process of democratic consultation and dialogue between candidates and leaders of multi-sector organizations.
